We had confidence in this firm in Exeter until we came to buy our house in Devon. Then, unfortunately, they farmed us out to a team in St Austell who charged a lot of money for doing very little to help us. Most importantly to us, no one made any attempt to represent us in our fight over 3% Stamp Duty (in the end I did it myself). Finally, they sent us an exorbitant bill which included the 3% Stamp Duty. This, after I had told them (and sent an HMRC letter confirming this) we were not due to pay. E-mails were not answered quickly either. They sent us a letter purporting to include a form asking for our opinion of their service, but forgot to include it. I could go on, but I think you’ll get the picture.
