Core Legal acted for my buyers. They were atrocious from start to finish. Nearly a month after agreeing the sale they had done nothing, and claimed they had not received anything from my solicitors. Paperwork was resent again and again and it was still weeks before they commenced any work. Three months down the line and they hadn’t raised a single enquiry. During this time endless promises were made to the buyers about deadliens for sending enquiries. It wasn’t until the buyers threatened to change solicitor that anything happened, and even then they continued to lie to their clients and my solicitor about progress. Dates were given for exchange of contracts but then the solicitor was on holiday. More promises made and not upheld. They continually dodge calls and do not return messages. We had three changes of solicitor and all were equally horrendous – Victoria, Neelam and even the company owner Anthony. It took nearly 5 months to sell with no chain above or below and without raising a single enquiry in the end. Ask yourself this. How can a company have only 1 and 5 star reviews? The 5 star reviews should not be believed. Awful. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
