chose Eric Robinson for flat purchase. Was up front with them about when I expected to exchange/complete. Solicitor (who prides himself on their website for keeping clients informed) didn’t bother to let me know these dates clashed with his 2 week holiday. I only found out that he was on holiday when chasing him up on something he said he’d get right back to me on… house buying is stressful without service providers adding to it. I did much of the chasing between agent, vendors solicitor etc myself. I do have friends who had excellent service from ER – which is why I chose them – my experience was awful.
