I had a very complex sale with lease extension, and liaising with management agents, their solicitors, buyers solicitor and multiple times having people pull out. Gemma and her team, helped me through the whole experience, taking time to explain things in plain English and help filling out forms. They worked so hard i can’t praise them enough.

I had a fantastic experience with Henrietta Pote and the rest of the team at Family First Solicitors and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for an honest, trustworthy and reliable legal service. Henrietta guided me through the most difficult time of my life, providing a phenomenal level of service and helping me build a water tight case. Henrietta was extremely knowledgable, courteous, efficient, and highly professional, but most importantly genuinely wanted the best outcome for my son and I, always looking to make the process cost effective and advising that the best option for everyone involved was an agreement between the two parties. Through Henrietta’s guidance and counsel, my case was brought to an early close and I got the order I wanted put in place by a District-Judge. I also have an amicable relationship with my ex-partner were we can talk happily and openly about our son. If it wasn’t for Henrietta I highly doubt we would be in this position, instead we would still be embroiled in an emotionally draining court case.I can’t thank Henrietta and the team at Family First enough. When choosing a legal firm, you are stepping into a minefield, some firms prioritise financial gain over the best interests of their clients. With Family First you are in safe hands, these guys truly live up to their name. Thanks so much Henrietta and the rest of them team. Huge kudos to you guys, keep up the great work!

I had a problem with a neighbour whose tree roots were growing in my alley way. I did not want to argue with the neighbour just wanted to part with the roots without damaging their small tree.Birtkett Long sent me a surveyor who went onto the visit of my property taking pictures telling me he could not take any side without checking with me, the owner. I paid more than 1000 for that survey, Birkett Long did not do anything but sending that man more than 3 weeks after my request and guess what they just sent me another invoice claiming I owe them money for neighbour disputes! REALLY?!

I had a truly awful experience at the hands of this firm in family court. They said all of the right things when I went in for the initial meeting but I had a different solicitor every time I went to court, they sent an unqualified solicitor to one of my hearings without telling me (but charged me the same), they passed me onto a barrister for my final hearing because they were too busy to attend and she was even worse. I would advise anyone going to family court either to do it yourself as a solicitor is not always needed or go somewhere else.

I had a meeting with Rehana Ali seeking advice for an issue relating to employment law. She was understanding and immediately made me feel at ease in an environment I was a bit nervous about. She dealt with me in an extremely compassionate way and the advice she gave was invaluable. She was very knowledgeable and really went the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rehana, and I would happily go back to her personally again for legal advice and representation. Thanks Rehana!

I had a fall in Edinburgh and spent a week in hospital with a broken hip. I got in touch with Lindsey’s to put a claim in against the council, as I live in co durham England I was glad I got solicitor in Scotland. My solicitor was called Sarah Jane skellett she got everything done in no time and got me a great settlement that I didn’t expect. Couldn’t fault them at all. I would recommend them to anyone .

I had a rocky start with Direction Law, following a customer service issue with one of their trainees. However, once I’d raised the issue, I was assigned a new case manager and started liaising with a more senior solicitor (Simon) and the service improved significantly. Simon singlehandedly restored my faith in the firm and the process, spending many hours talking me through the details of the purchase, chasing down extra information and even replying to me while he was on sick leave. It takes only one bad experience to break your faith in an organisation and it is difficult to claw it back. I have to say, Simon achieved this and I would gladly work with him and his colleague Stuart again in the future.
