I used this firm primarily based on their google reviews. I must admit they are wonderful people and very responsive and professional. I mostly communicated with them via email and the responses were swift. I never waited for more than two hours from them to respond. I definitely recommend them and would use them again if I need to in the future. I must point out, before choosing them I had few quotes from other firms and all of them were slightly cheaper, but I didn’t like their reviews. I decided to pay a bit extra and it was well worth it for us.

I used this firm of Solicitors for a house purchase in 2013 without any problems, unfortunately, my recent dealings with them have been far from satisfactory. Slow to the point of stationary, lack of communication & downright rude. When a cheque and documents went ‘missing’ in the post I was not informed. To stop further delays, I took time out to visit their offices to issue another payment and give them another set of documents. When I was taken in to the office by the receptionist, conveyancing assistant Ms Jenny Mason, obviously unaware that I could see her, rolled her eyes when told of my presence. I included senior partner Mathew Robinson in my Emails of complaint but he did not even afford me the courtesy of responding.In conclusion, I would not use Robinson’s Solicitors again nor would I recommend their services. Hopefully in the future, firms of solicitors will have to invoice customers for payment rather than being able to just take their fees out of the proceeds of the house sale. Maybe then they will improve their customer service and efficiency.

I used this firm of solicitors to sort a lease on a business I was looking into buying for the price of £9000. I instructed Fiona Roche to act on my behalf to put together a full lease which is unusual but the landlord did not want the expense. I was quoted a price of £1500 + vat to draw up the full lease & complete the sale and was told if the sale for any reason did not go through I would be charged only for the work upto thst stage. To cut a long story short the landlord we was purchasing the business from actually ended up completing the lease and my solicitor only had to look over it and complete relevant searches! The sale then never went through however this firms bill ended up just short of £1500!!!! I was told by my estate agent & numerous other people that this price was excessive! I then asked Fiona for a break down of all work involved, every time an email was forwarded or received I was billed £25 I actually called to complain to Steven Ogden one of the directors as I was having trouble getting hold of Fiona and was billed for that. AT NO POINT DID I SAY I WOULD NOT PAY THE BILL! I now have Richard Hirst Solicitor Director threatening me with court proceedings & CCJs I have to say he is very proactive with the threats had the urgency been like this from the start from Fiona the sale would of gone through! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM OF SOLICITORS UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE & MAKE SURE YOU ARE VERY CLEAR ON PRICING.
