I was unfortunate enough to become embroiled with Grindeys when obtaining a mortage through HSBC. There’s very little point in me going into the finer details, but what I will share is that Grindeys lost, misdirected or failed to receive paperwork from my mortgage advisor on so many occasions (five? six?) that I eventually decided I had no choice but to drive a 360 mile round-trip from my home to their offices in order to hand-deliver the paperwork and demand a receipt. 0/10, do not use.
