I worked closely with Andrew Cawkwell from Newtons Durham office at Hartlepool United FC in order to keep the club legitimately trading, whilst experiencing the most difficult of financial situations. With support of Andrew and his contacts, I was able to keep the club operating, whilst seeking a buyer for the club and allowing them to complete the sale. Without his support I would have found it impossible to keep trading as long as we did, and liquidation would have been the most likely outcome.
